Walk West Bloomfield

It’s time for West Bloomfield drivers to use their feet and do some walking, and what better way than with Walk West Bloomfield? This fun and free program encourages fitness opportunities while providing the opportunity to enjoy all the recreational parks and trails West Bloomfield has to offer the community. Walks are held rain or shine (except for extreme weather) from May to August at various locations throughout the West Bloomfield region, ranging from 2 to 3.5 miles.

Go Fish

Twice a year, the Michigan DNR waives the need for fishing licenses and fees for the Troy area. So, why not celebrate and join us at the fishing pier inside Marshbank Park on Cass Lake for the chance to share this great outdoor hobby with your family? If you’ve never fished before, no problem! Beginners are welcome (ages three and up). Helpers will be on hand with a limited number of fishing poles and free hands-on instruction to get you and your children started. The program is catch and release of all fish, so please bring your camera to capture the moment!
