How to Clean Leather Car Seats

Items You’ll Need: 

• Microfiber towels
• Vacuum
• Soft-bristle brush
• Leather cleaner

OR

• 1 part white vinegar/2 parts linseed oil solution

Step-by-Step Guide: 

1. First and foremost, refer to your owner’s manual for any instructions related to your model, and for any information about the products you shouldn’t use.
2. Next, vacuum the seats; be careful not to scratch the leather. The smaller attachments or an air compressor will come in handy when you need to get into the crevices.
3. Spray the leather cleaner or the cleaning solution onto the microfiber towel, and begin wiping the seats clean. This will help to remove any surface dirt and oils.
4. Spray the cleaner onto the seats. For perforated leather seats, spray onto the soft-bristled brush and then apply to the seats. Carefully scrub the surface.
5. Wipe the seats with the microfiber towel to dry.

Step-by-Step Guide:

To remove a stain, try to clean the area immediately after a spill. Sometimes, the stain will come off with just warm water and no soap is needed.
