CLA Engines & Fuel Economy

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA is offered in two non-AMG® trims: CLA 250 and CLA 250 4MATIC®. Both are powered by a 2.0L turbo inline-4 engine rated at 208 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. As of this writing, official mpg ratings haven’t been released by Mercedes-Benz, but according to www.fueleconomy.gov, the 2019 CLA 250 earns 24 mpg city/37 mpg highway and the 2019 CLA 250 4MATIC® earns 24 mpg city/32 mpg highway.

CLA Performance & Handling Features

• Dual-Clutch Transmission: Motorsports-inspired, the 7G-DCT 7-speed dual-clutch transmission artfully changes gears and includes three overdrive ratios to increase highway fuel-efficiency.
• Available 4MATIC® All-Wheel Drive: Want a little extra traction on Birmingham roadways? This intelligent system distributes torque to the wheels that need it most and adjusts to changing driving conditions on the fly.

AMG® Performance

If you want a punch of power, consider the 2019 AMG® CLA 45. Under the hood, you’ll find a handcrafted 375-hp AMG® 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder — the most powerful 4-cylinder in production. It produces up to 350 lb-ft of torque and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Of course, that’s not all. The AMG® CLA 45 is equipped with the latest and greatest performance developments from Mercedes-AMG®, which include:
